Recently a movie came in Tamil about cricket - JEEVA. It shows that the brahmins dominated Tamil Nadu Cricket and they do not allow others to enter in to the state team as well as National.
(I believe that in those days, Brahmins were mainly playing cricket and there was not this much money involved in the game and they played for their passion to the game. The nature of the game suited their stamina and style.)
How for it is true and what is your experience. Can you write about it ?
Note : I have a feeling that there was Iyengar domination there and they gave more chances to Iyengars in the place of Iyers.
